Alaska may be cold but Flashovers was blessed with some serious warmth from Rick Monyahan of the Nikiski, Alaska Fire Department.  Rick sent the Tavern all kinds of goodies a shirt, a video, and a special Bud can full of love. Rick was one of the charter members of Flashovers Tavern when it opened in Lansdowne, Pa.  I think it was before the internet was even invented but we still love him anyway.  Rick is a full blooded eskimo and actually had one of the first igloos in Delaware county.   Rumor has it he can be seen at the Nikiski Days Celebration Saturday June 17th at the Nikiski Recreation area pool.  The members from Flashovers were supposed to meet him there but due to the Upcoming Ocean City Convention and Seacrets having the tubes in the bay were beautiful women serve drinks plans had to be changed.  Rick Thanks alot when you coming back? There has been talk about a life member celebration in the future.  Oh yeah, we heard you might be sending a package of Alaska's best suds for a Weds. in the future.
