 The boys from the Tavern would like to give an official shout out to the members of the Shore Force Compound. We will see you Friday for T-Shirts.....and yes the First Official Flashover T-Shirt will be available....Be sure to stop by our "filling station" on Saturday for a night cap!!

     Alaska may be cold but Flashovers was blessed with some serious warmth from Rick Monyahan of the Nikiski, Alaska Fire Department.  Rick sent the Tavern all kinds of goodies a shirt, a video, and a special Bud can full of love. Rick was one of the charter members of Flashovers Tavern when it opened in Lansdowne, Pa.  I think it was before the internet was even invented but we still love him anyway.  Rick is a full blooded eskimo and actually had one of the first igloos in Delaware county.   Rumor has it he can be seen at the Nikiski Days Celebration Saturday June 17th at the Nikiski Recreation area pool.  The members from Flashovers were supposed to meet him there but due to the Upcoming Ocean City Convention and Seacrets having the tubes in the bay were beautiful women serve drinks plans had to be changed.  Rick Thanks alot when you coming back? There has been talk about a life member celebration in the future.  Oh yeah, we heard you might be sending a package of Alaska's best suds for a Weds. in the future.

This weeks shout out goes to Big Bob Herre and the two flashovers tavern stalkers....... 

This week`s shout out goes to John Austin, Fire Inspector, with West Deptford Township and a member of Colonial Manor Fire Company station 6-3. John is planning his 1st trip to flashovers soon but has donated some “trinkets” to help make the flashovers experience a more enjoyable one. John plans on adding entertainment to Flashovers during his visit as he performs some Elvis tunes. This weeks "Shout Out" goes to South Media Fire Co. (51). Three members came and took a tour of the one and only "Tavern" this evening, where they ate and threw a couple back with the regulars, it was a pleasure fellas.  The Flashover's Tavern WAS going to list a shout out to the Ritchie Volunteers, P.G. Maryland, BUT...Deputy Hayden was listed as M.I.A. From our inside sources we heard that Deputy Hayden was riding outside vent on Truck 9. On another note thanks to Chief 9 for the shirts.

 The boys at the Tavern would like to congratulate Amy and Scotty Too Hottie on their marriage, we hope they name the first kid after the tavern "Flashover Hurst"
